Made in lockdown and performed to a camera. Romanian dor and Portuguese saudade are two words for the same ache and neither survives translation, so the piece argues them in sound instead: vocal polyphony, microtonal chant, Iberian and Balkan flutes, bagpipes, percussion, and a visual system reacting to all of it live.
It was the first in a long line of works about longing at a distance. DOR 360 comes out of it.
